مارتن فان برينسن

Martin van Bruinessen

(ولد في 10 يوليو 1946، شونهوفن , هولندا )

استاذ فخري في جامعة أوتريخت ، قسم الدراسات الدينية،

هو عالم الأنثروبولوجيا الهولندية والمؤلف، الذي نشر عددا من المنشورات حول الموضوعات الكردية والإندونيسية والتركية والفارسية والزازا، وأيضا على جوانب الإسلام ككل.

درس علم الاجتماع الديني في معهد الدولة للدراسات الإسلامية في يوجياكارتا بإندونيسيا، وكان يدرس الدراسات الكردية والتركية في جامعة أوتريخت بهولندا منذ عام 1994.

كما كتب وبحث بعض القضايا في المراحل الأولى للإسلام في جاوة.
