عضو هيئة التدريس في جامعة الآغاخان (باكستان)، معهد دراسات الحضارات الإسلامية ،

أكمل الدكتوراه في عام 2007 في كلية سانت جون ، أكسفورد تحت إشراف أفريل كاميرون.

يتركز اهتمامه حول :

مسيحيي الشرق في العصور القديمة , الاقليات الدينية في سوريا والعراق .

قام بتدريس تاريخ العصور القديمة المتأخرة  في جامعة أكسفورد وكامبريدج في الفترة من 2005-2012.

 كما قام بتدريس دورة في SOAS في 2008-10 على الاستشهاد والرهبان في قسم دراسة الأديان .
