فحصل على الشهادة الجامعية الاولى في السياسة والفلسفة والاقتصاد

التحق بكلية دي يوروب، بروج، 1965-1966

ثم التحق بجامعة ساسكس، 1966-1969

ونال شهادة الدكتوراه في العلاقات الدولية

موضوع أطروحته : سياسة المساعدات الخارجية في تنزانيا .

3 - الخليج وآسيا , العلاقات الخليجية مع الصين والهند واليابان وكوريا الجنوبية وسنغافورة .

4 - الإسلام والدولة  , الدين في بناء الدولة , قضايا حقوق الإنسان في المنظور الإسلامي ، موقف الجاليات الإسلامية في أوروبا في الآونة الأخيرة والأوضاع الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والسياسية التي تواجه هذه المجتمعات.
