عضو هيئة التدريس في جامعة بار إيلان، قسم الفكر اليهودي،
نشأ في الولايات المتحدة، ونال درجة B.A. في عام 2004 في الدراسات الكلاسيكية والرياضيات في جامعة شيكاغو.
وحصل على درجة الماجستير في الفلسفة من الجامعة العبرية في القدس (2006)
ونال درجة الدكتوراه (مع أعلى تمييز) في الفلسفة اليهودية من جامعة بار إيلان (2010).
يهتم بتقاطعات الفلسفة والدين واليهودية والإسلام في العصور الوسطى وعصر النهضة. ويركز على تاريخ المفاهيم الفلسفية واستخدامها في النصوص والنهج الدينية السائدة في إسرائيل من خلال دراسة تاريخ المفاهيم. وهو مهتم بشكل خاص بالخلفية الفلسفية الكامنة وراء الفكر الصهيوني والحركات الفكرية التي استمدت من مصادر دينية وفلسفية لتشكيل المؤسسة الصهيونية.
