ولدت ونشأت في تل أبيب ، انهت جميع الدراسات الأكاديمية المقدمة في الجامعة العبرية: درجة البكالوريوس في اللغة و الأدب العربي والأدب الإنجليزي (1969)، اللغة العربية المعتمدة والأدب (1974) والدكتوراه (1982).
مجالات البحث :
تتعامل مع تاريخ الإسلام القديم ، والمجتمع القبلي العربي ، والتقاليد والقانون والكتابة التاريخية في الإسلام.
