رابيا تيري هاريس ، أستاذة وكاتبة وناشطة وعالمة اللاهوت ، هي مؤسِّسة ومديرة زمالة السلام الإسلامية (www.muslimpeacefellowship.org). تأسست في عام 1994 ، MPF هي المنظمة الأمريكية الوحيدة المكرسة خصيصا لنظرية وممارسة اللاعنف الإسلامي. قضت هاريس ، وهي قائدة جماعة التقاليد الحية في ستوني بوينت ، نيويورك (http://communityoflivingtraditions.org) ، عقدين من الزمن في العمل السلمي والعدالة بين الأديان ، وهي تعمل كرجل دين ممارس وتُدرس في وقت واحد في التراث الفكري. برنامج في جامعة تمبل في فيلادلفيا ، السلطة الفلسطينية وقسم الفلسفة والدين في كلية Ursinus في Collegeville ، PA.

تحمل هاريس شهادة البكالوريوس في الدين من جامعة برينستون ، وهي حائزة على ماجستير في اللغات والثقافات في الشرق الأوسط من جامعة كولومبيا ، وشهادة دراسات عليا في مجال العبادة الإسلامية من معهد هارتفورد.
