خريج معهد الدراسات السياسية آكس أون بروفانس (فرنسا),
خريج جامعة برلين الحرة ، العلوم السياسية ،
رئيس مكتب (جامعة برلين الحرة) في القاهرة لخدمة التبادل الأكاديمي الألمانية (DAAD) ، مصر.
وهو يمثل الجامعة في الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا. قبل انضمامه إلى الجامعة ، كان زميلاً في الأبحاث بمركز الدراسات والوثائق الاقتصادية والقانونية والاجتماعية (CEDEJ) ومحاضر في معهد الدراسات السياسية آكس أون بروفانس.
حاصل على شهادة الدكتوراه من جامعة برلين الحرة ومعهد الدراسات السياسية آكس أون بروفانس بعنوان التعاون الدولي والتوحيد الاستبدادي: إصلاحات التعليم العالي في مصر والمغرب.
تشمل اهتماماته البحثية الإصلاح الجامعي والتغيير السياسي ودور المنظمات المانحة الدولية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا (MENA).
له مساهمات كثيرة في وسائل الإعلام حول الأحداث في مصر وليبيا والمغرب.
