Armando Salvatore

هو عالم اجتماع في الدين والثقافة

يدرس في جامعة هومبولت، برلين، وفي جامعة الدراسات الشرقية، نابولي (لوريانتال)

قبل انضمامه إلى ماكغيل حصل على درجة الدكتوراه من معهد الجامعة الأوروبية، فلورنسا، في عام 1994،

وتأهيله البروفيسوري من جامعة هومبولت، برلين في عام 2006.

وقد حصل على زمالات بحثية في معهد دراسة الإسلام في العالم الحديث (جامعة لايدن)، معهد الدراسات المتقدمة في العلوم الإنسانية (جامعة دويسبورغ - إيسن)، ومركز همبولت للبحوث الاجتماعية والسياسية (جامعة هومبولت، برلين) ومعهد بحوث آسيا (جامعة سنغافورة الوطنية).
